As CPS is a website where many sellers have come together to sell from the same site – to make sure we keep a uniform look across the whole site, and to keep the site working as efficiently as possible – there are some rules/guidelines/expectations. Some of our sellers are also new to selling online, so this guide includes some tips to help you get the most from your selling experience.
If this page is no help, you can ask on the private fb group.

Please note these videos were created when CPS was running with a shopping cart system, so many of the product options discussed in these videos are no longer available
Video tutorial on adding a simple product in the “front end” – (Corrections to this video – #1 – the option to make the product “private” will make it so only you can see it, customers won’t be able to see it – instead use the “hidden” option to hide a product if you want to send a link to a specific customer only – and this option is only available in the “backend” editor. #2 – We were not able to add the code that automatically ticks the option to manage inventory as it was breaking the site, so you will have to do that yourself. #3 – “Tags” are now renamed to “Fabric Prints” to help everyone use them as intended)

Video tutorial on adding a variable product – (Not covered in the Variables video is how to add fabric print options alongside options that charge per variation. To do that – set your variations for the length/absorbency/waterproofing that does change the price depending on what the customer selects. As shown in the video. Then go back to the “Attributes” tab and create the fabric print attributes, listing the fabric colours/prints the customer can choose from. Go back to the “Variations” tab and click the “go” button – this will add on the new fabric print options without you needing to give each fabric print a price.)
CPS website/server time is UTC +10 (Melbourne, Australia time).
- When doing a scheduled stocking, make the product go live at the website/server time, not your own local time!
- The website/server time does not change time for daylight savings time!! – this clock counter does show daylight savings time (I was unable to find a clock that doesn’t change for daylight savings) – so this time clock is going to be 1 hour ahead of the website/server time during the period of daylight savings (7th Oct 2018-7th April 2019)
Daylight Savings info below:
From 7th October 2018 at 2am to 7th April 2019 3am (UTC+10) the time on this clock display will be 1 hour later than the website/server time (eg if the clock says 10am, it will be 9am according to the website/server).
On 7th April 2019 at 3am (UTC+10) the time on this clock will be correct server time (Until Daylight savings starts again in October 2019)
